Fain is a lifelong resident of Dublin and Laurens Co. He has been very active in the community having served as Vice Chairman of the Industrial Development Authority, Vice Chairman of the Dublin/Laurens Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Airport Authority, Chairman of the Laurens Co. Jury Commissioners, Member of the Dublin Planning and Zoning Board, and presently a member of the Dublin Rotary Club. He also received the Golden Shamrock Award from the City of Dublin for outstanding service to the community.

Since beginning his Real Estate Career, he has become an Associate Broker, received designations for Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI), and Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), is a member of the Real Estate Land Institute, and is Lifetime Member of the Million Dollar Club.
